# DEP Design Skill

PT Dinamika Electro Plating ("DEP") is a Bandung-based industrial electroplating service company, established 1983. The brand is **industrial, factual, bilingual (Indonesian-first), and quietly confident** — never hype-y, never consumer-y.

## How to use this skill

1. Read `README.md` first — it contains the full **Content Fundamentals**, **Visual Foundations**, and **Iconography** sections that define the system.
2. Pull design tokens from `colors_and_type.css` (CSS variables for colors, type, spacing, radii, shadows, motion).
3. Use logo assets from `assets/` — never redraw the logo, never use the raster JPEG on the web.
4. Reference the cards in `preview/` for atomic-level examples (palette, type specimens, buttons, etc.).
5. For larger compositions, reference `ui_kits/marketing-site/` — it shows the brand applied end-to-end.

## When the user invokes this skill without other guidance

Ask what they want to build (proposal, certificate, landing page, deck, signage, social card, internal dashboard, etc.), then ask:
- **Audience** — existing pelanggan, prospek baru, internal, regulator?
- **Language** — Bahasa Indonesia, English, or bilingual?
- **Output format** — single HTML page, slide deck, printable PDF, image asset?
- **Tone** — formal & technical (default for B2B / regulatory), or marketing-warm?
- **Photography** — do they have workshop photos to use, or should we use placeholders?

Then design as an expert who knows DEP's heritage and constraints. Output static HTML files (or production code, depending on the user's need) and copy assets out of `assets/` rather than rebuilding them.

## Hard rules — do not violate

- ❌ No emoji anywhere. Use Lucide icons or skip.
- ❌ No purple, no pastel, no neon. The palette is blue + red + steel grey.
- ❌ No bluish-purple gradients. No glassy / glossy effects. No gradient pills.
- ❌ No bouncy / springy / playful animation. Fades and small translates only.
- ❌ Never machine-translate the company's own copy — quote it verbatim.
- ✅ Always include the "PT." prefix when writing the company name in full.
- ✅ Always use `--dep-blue` (`#054493`) for primary; use `--dep-red` (`#CD090B`) sparingly as accent only.
- ✅ For service names, copy the bilingual phrasing exactly: *Jasa Plating Zinc*, *Jasa Plating Nickel Chrome*, *Jasa Plating Nickel Brass*.
